Description: 'Aladdin and Jasmine above Agrabah' is an artwork by Thomas Kinkade Studios, inspired by Walt Disney Studios 1992 animated film 'Aladdin', based on the the Arabian folktale 'Aladdin and the magic lamp' from the enchanting collection of fairy tales of Middle Eastern 'One Thousand and One Nights'.
In the original Disney movie, the peasant boy Aladdin pretends to be a prince to win the hand of his beloved Jasmine, while Princess Jasmine blending in with the crowd in her peasant clothes in an attempt to break the confines of her palace home.
As they soar above Agrabah and the surrounding kingdom on a magic carpet ride, watched by her father, the Sultan of Agrabah and her overprotective pet, the tiger Rajah, they discover a 'whole new world' of adventure and love.
