Atlas Moth - Atlas moth (Attacus atlas) is one of the world's largest species of insects, closely related to the butterfly, which belongs to a Saturniidae family (giant silk moths), widespread in the tropical and subtropical forests, and lowlands of Southeast Asia, India and Sri Lanka to China, Malaysia and Indonesia. Atlas Moth has a wing span of 25 cm. <br />
Besides being very large, Atlas moth looks amazing and is easily recognizable by the colorful wings in various shades of brown. The tips of the wings are curved, resembling the head of snake. Atlas moths have no mouth and therefore can not eat.
