Traditionally the Thanksgiving Day is celebrated after the harvest gathering as a gratitude to all the people for their hard work through the year. The occasion is celebrated not only by Americans or Europeans. The Chinese also have similar celebrations as 'Moon Festival' or 'Mid-Autumn Festival', which is celebrated in September or early October.
