Beautiful vintage postcards depicting a 'Girl with goose' and a pink 'Easter egg' with ribbon and spring flowers, manufactured by the publishing company 'Whitney', founded in beginning of the century in Worcester, Massachusetts, by George Whitney, a veteran of the Civil War. Whitney Company became an important publisher of greeting cards and souvenirs for all holidays as Easter, Halloween, Valentine's Day, known of collectors as 'Whitney Made' or marked with red 'W'.
