The giraffes from the National Reserve Masai Mara (Maasai Mara), in South-western Kenya, Africa, a northern continuation of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Giraffes are African mammals, the biggest ruminant species. They live south of the Sahara desert, on open wooded grassland and prefer areas with plenty of acacia, which enables them to survive in arid areas for a long time.
