Description:

Supermarine Spitfire Vb BM597 and Hawker Hurricane Mk 11a Z5149 (G-HURI) in flight at the air show 'Royal International Air Tattoo' (RIAT) in Fairford, Gloucestershire, England (2010). In September 2005, the restored Spitfire BM597 and Hurricane Z5149 flew from Duxford back to the Mediterranean island Malta, where during the Second World War, they participated in the battle, known as one of the most decisive turning points of the war.
