Square 'Saint Peter' (Piazza San Pietro) is located directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City, the papal enclave in Rome, open space which was revised by Gian Lorenzo Bernini from 1656 to 1667, so that many people can see the Pope, when he gives his blessing.
