Описание: The 'Gold Winter Night' (2014) is an oil painting on canvas by Leonid Afremov (1955-2019) made using a palette knife only. This technique with spatula makes his paintings very unique, dazzling colorful and vibrant.
Afremov was born in Vitebsk, Belarus, then former USSR, the same town where Marc Chagall began his artistic career. In 1990 he moved with his family to Israel, in the Tel Aviv area, where opened an art gallery. In 2002, he moved to the United States. Since 2004 he started selling his paintings on eBay and received positive approval from customers. In March 2010 he moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico where he lived for nine years.
